Wide Wheels and Sticky Tires!

I picked up my six new-to-me Hoosier autocross tires on Saturday, on my up north for the first Oregon Region autocross practice event. Four of the tires are in excellent condition with minimal tread wear. The holographic tread is still present. These 225/50-13 tires are significantly wider compared to the stock 165/80-13 tires.

On monday, my four newly created Diamond Racing wheels showed up. I saved a little money and did not have them powder coated. Since I'm not really sure what color the car is going to be, I thought I would wait to paint them. I was a little disappointed that the wheels were so dirty. I guess they don't bother cleaning them if you don't pay to have them powder coated. I also ordered a set of M12x1.25mm 45-degree lug nuts.
